My purpose is to guide people to consider alternative courses of thinking, review the options for action, consider the effects of those actions on others, and make the best decisions they can after due consideration. All of this to help you be the best you want to be.


To positively affect the lives of 10,000 people in the next 10 years.

I will achieve this through direct contact with clients, building a global network of Regional Directors and training and developing a pool of Business, Life and Wellness Coaches and Business Advisors world wide.


As a member of International Coaching Federation (ICF), I adhere to the Code of Ethics and the process for Ethical Conduct Review as published on the ICF website.

As a member of the ICF I have published my Coaching Agreement and contact details for the review of clients, and potential clients.

I was born in Ashburton, New Zealand, and grew up on the family farm. This background moulded me to be a very practical person and I followed this practical line of thinking throughout my corporate and business career. I am married to Suzie and have two adult sons, two daughters in law and four grand children.

After spending time with a Life Insurance company AMP, I progressed and joined Bank of New Zealand (BNZ)as a Private Bank front line advisor. My Career with BNZ saw me move into a number of roles.

  • Private Banker

  • Head of the Asset Management Service

  • Manager of Northern Region Private Bank

  • Director Private Bank

During these roles I was Chair of the BNZ Investment Review Committee and served on that committee for a total of 12 years.

Towards the end of my time with BNZ and National Australia Bank I accepted a secondment to Clydesdale Bank in the UK, to be part of the strategy development team. This assignment lasted for a total of 15 months, at the conclusion of which I accepted redundancy.

My wife and I travelled in some of the more isolated areas of Africa, Ex Russian Federation States and the Middle East before returning to Melbourne to manage a small education business. The business was based in Melbourne but has a branch office in Auckland, it employed 15 staff members and serviced customers throughout Australia and New Zealand. I managed this business in difficult circumstances for approximately 3 years before I decided to return to Auckland to be with family.

My move into coaching has been a natural progression from corporate people management within the businesses i have been involved with. I am a member of the ICF and have completed my Accredited Certified Coach (ACC) designation, from that organisation.

As National Director for Life in Balance Careers my role is help build the three streams of business by introducing new Coaches and Advisors to the Life in Balance process. I am focused on building a strong Leadership Team in each of the three business streams.

As Chief Operating Officer for Quantum Leap Business Advisors I get to fulfil my purpose of helping Coaches and Advisors to be the best they can. On boarding Coaches and Advisors and assisting them to reach the heights of success that they themselves determine.
